I bought this to cut the threads when sewing. I used them twice before putting them aside. They look cheap, they don't cut well at all. Spend your money on the best pair of wire cutters. I think my toenail clippers work better than these.

I bought these to replace a very old pair (the same) I had at Joann's Fabrics many years ago. They no longer have that brand so I searched the internet and found it here. They're not the sharpest, but they get the job done. I've noticed that it's better to keep the thread 🧵 a bit taut and it cuts normally. I prefer them for the finger holder and their lightness. More convenient to use than simple metal scissors.
