🔪 Compact Mundial Hardwood Cutting Board Review

This is a very high quality cutting board! Ideal for small roasts, pork loin and steaks. It's irreversible. I would definitely recommend this.

I bought this cutting board about 4 months ago but wanted to wait a bit before writing my review. The good news is that the board is easy to keep clean by hand and hasn't tarnished despite a few washes in the dishwasher. The legs are sturdy and I believe this cutting board will last a long time!

I don't cook complicated, but sometimes I don't have much space on the countertop. It is small (approx. 9" x 11") but very strong made of wood. Well made (thick) - with a convenient drainage ditch running all the way around the edges - to direct juices away from the actual preparation area. (nice detail). It's only for the price.

This chopping board is high quality and good looking. I like the small size and the drip tray (useful for pitting cherries, among other things). Ideally, the back of the board could also be used - as there are small legs on the underside of the board. that I think I could make. But many will appreciate the sticky rubber feet that keep the board from moving on the counter. In general if you need a deck of this size I think this is the board.

I was very happy with it as it was exactly what I needed - a small, good quality chopping board with a juice chute. But when it arrived I began to wonder what size roast beef would fit on it. It would be nice if my husband and I took a small fillet, but if I was given a larger fillet when the kids arrived, it wouldn't fit. I ended up sending the board back and buying a medium sized board. I differentiate between chopping boards for cooking in the kitchen and chopping boards for slicing meat at the table. As a cutting board, this board is only suitable for very small tasks, such as chopping an onion. As a chopping board, however, it's a good size for a small roast up to two pounds - maybe half a beef tenderloin or pork loin, or a whole pork tenderloin.
