Easy to use and sharp

The lamp came in a box, the blades are protected by a plastic cover. It's very easy to use and sharp. Too bad the kit didn't come with extra blades.

Pros
  • Done
Cons
  • Repair

Kinda disappointing.

Doesn't quite live up to expectations, the dough pulls rather than cuts. The blade feels sharp, don't know why it doesn't work better for me. Definitely disappointed.

Pros
  • Hands-free operation
Cons
  • Long waiting time

Good professional lame

Works as expected, feels good in hand. Very nice protective case. Seems like a lot of money for a small piece of plastic but it certainly does the job and that seems to be what they are worth.

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • unreliable

Works very well for cutting complex curves. Be sure .

Great for cutting complex curves. Remember to dust the surface of the bread with flour first so the blade slides and cuts. Otherwise it will be stretched and not cut.

Pros
  • Great design
Cons
  • Lots of stuff

One of my favorite bread baking tools.

My lameness is much better than cutting dough with knives. It cuts the dough cleanly without tearing and at the perfect angle. This is one of my kitchen essentials that is kept in a special box and rides with me in the car when I move to another state after selling my house!

Pros
  • Always liked
Cons
  • Appearance

Easy to hold and change blade.

According to the description, it has different numbers of blades that can be used. You can use regular razor blades sold here. I've used Diamond Astra blades (Russian) and Derby Extra blades (Turkish) as well as some regular American blades my boss gave me, they all work great. I'm sure most other reversible blades will work here, I just haven't tried them. Keeps the blade in a good curve and snaps securely into the mount so the blade doesn't pop out like my other lame ones when hittingโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Fingers crossed
Cons
  • old

The handle is thin. used blades. The lid doesn't stay on.

I like that I can use regular blades as others say. I didn't like the flimsy plastic handle. I also didn't like how close your fingers get to the razor blade when trying to slide the piece of plastic to secure the blade. A smack with your fingers and you'd rip them apart. I had to push very hard to close and lock the blade. I also didn't like that they sent me a used one. You can see the dirt on the blade in one of my photos. What I didn't like was that the lid didn't stay on. It broke the deal

Pros
  • Pleasant to use
Cons
  • It pisses me off
