See my review of coat size 12. I like the design but there is a big difference between a size 12 and a size 14. I'll leave it, hope the tailor can alter it to fit. Surprised to find that the blue varies greatly between coats; 12 - violet-blue, 14 - green-blue. I don't think our dog cares!

Solid coat, beautiful green durable fabric on the outside and plush gray fabric on the inside. Seems to keep my dog warm and dry despite not being waterproof. It's quick and easy, and if you've ever dealt with a quirky dog that needs to pee, you know this is an asset in puppy clothes. However, I would like the hole for attaching the leash to the dog harness on the back of the coat to be larger and easier to access.

The outer shell was made of high quality material and the warm fluffy inner lining was very warm. In general, the design of the cloak is very good. Unfortunately, the landing is very unforgiving. The velcro doesn't leave much room and I couldn't even close the jacket around the neck of my 65 lb pit bull. This would be a great coat for a leaner dog. It's unfortunate that dog clothing manufacturers think that chest length and girth are key to a good fit.

Muttluk 3-layer belted winter coat is a very good coat. I like the vent that covers the chest and lower abdomen. My dog still has a place to urinate without getting his fur dirty. The only thing I would change is the closure at the neck by adding a few extra buttonholes to adjust the neck. The ad says the length of the back is true to size. I believe the neck is the right measurement. Not all 14 inch dogs have the same neck size. My dog cannot gain a single gram or the neck is too tight.

I liked this coat on my dog who wears a size 12. She is an 8 pound miniature poodle. I liked it so much I've been waiting for another to go on sale. I was lucky enough to find a size 16 for my mini poodle who weighs 20 pounds. Its length from the nape of the neck to the tail is approximately 18 inches, and the length of the torso is 21 inches. I find this coat fitting. Muttluks seem to walk less. I tried size 14 on another Muttluks product (rain suit) and it would not close. Size 16 raincoat…

I have a 10 lb Chi/Terrier mix. He's short but bulky (broad chest for his size). I ordered a size 12 and it was too small (I measured it according to the instructions and it was too big). However, I ordered one size larger and it fits perfectly! The coat is really good quality, it will be super warm in it. I can't use rubber bands around his hind legs, they are too tight and he hates them. The strap is adjustable and I can tighten it, so no need for rubber bands anyway. All in all a great coat,
