My mower key broke after leaving it more than a few days. I got this so I can quickly disconnect my battery and not drain it. Works perfectly. Now when I park my lawnmower, I just unplug it and the battery stays fresh.

Terrible. They absolutely DO NOT COMBINE together and stay together. They need to be bonded together... and even then, metal electrical connectors don't always touch. The cords even "come out" of the plug...they literally just fall apart. Do not buy this product.

The connector was too big and difficult to crimp an AWG 4 wire even when using a special double action battery crimp wire. Would have worked with the same tool and AWG-1 wire, so I suspect I'm in the wrong place. Unfortunately I found out after the return window closed :-(

I installed a remote control wireless winch on my Honda ATV. I needed a way to disconnect the winch from the battery when not in use so the winch's wireless controller wouldn't drain the battery. They worked great. They can handle the current draw required by the winch. They are heavy and easy to connect and disconnect. Dust covers are good too.

I don't know what the stretch is. Bought for our 08T Sequoia to charge the camper battery while towing. The factory 7-pin connector is not designed for charging vehicles. I have a 30 and 40 amp fuse holder on 10 gauge wire. For 12 gauge wire length, zip together the red/black wire. The pigtail for the battery is mounted, it remains only to install it, the connectors are together, the polarity is confirmed.

I like them but they are 2 small to suit my association with Anderson, for which I wanted them. Same reviews and same shape but not the same size. But I found a use for them. So it wasn't a total loss. Easy assembly even without instructions. The child can. We feel sorry for the people who broke them or gave them a bad rating because they couldn't install them or figure out how to assemble them. You shouldn't have a business, even try to give bad grades because you can't complete the task.

I have installed many of these connectors over the years and this is by far the worst piece of junk I have ever used. They don't make contact, and if at first then not for long. Unfortunately I have this set on my winch in a very awkward place. To remove it I had to remove the entire bumper. In order to use the winch, I have to place my hand on this connector and squeeze so the terminals connect. It was a terrible purchase and a waste of time and effort.
