These connectors are great and very easy to use (with a crimping tool). I've used them to disconnect the CB and a few other items in a jeep and I really like them, they provide a solid connection and stay clean and dry. Pros: Easy to use (with pliers) Fairly clear instructions Boots and fittings work very well Cons: There are no extra ends in the box so if you make a mistake you won't have enough ends.

As someone who works with cars a lot, I really like these connectors. However, if you crimp them with pliers instead of a crimping tool, they are difficult to assemble. The ground clearance is very low. I also use a crimping tool and solder the wire. Absolutely first class. But if you don't use solder, they can fall out even if crimped properly. Take the time to get it right, crimp and solder. These are great connectors if you set them up correctly.

Excellent quality. It appears to be made from injection molded polymer. The durable waterproof silicone insert is NOT easy to tear: I used the tip of a small screwdriver to insert it with no tearing issues. When you insert the stylus, you'll hear a nice *click* of a secure connection. All you need to purchase to make a perfect, professional wire harness is heat shrink tubing to match your wire gauge and some dialect grease on your terminals to ensure there is no corrosion.

They are really poor quality. I have the right crimping tool and a lot of experience with Weatherpack and Metripack terminals. They are not standard or interchangeable with OEM clamps and connectors. They are very difficult to assemble properly. The connector pins do not snap properly into the connector housings. There is no tooth to prevent the clamp from simply slipping out of the housing. I think the negative reviews are due to the pins not inserting into the sockets in any direction. They must be inserted in such a way that the latch can hook into the pin. Otherwise, the wires will be pulled out. So buy yourself a good pair of pliers. They worked flawlessly to hook up LED lights to my truck. Ever since I found this style of connector I've been using it on pretty much everything I think will fall apart. lights/relays/switches/etc. Keeps things neat and simple. You must have good eyesight and preferably good wire cutters. I've had no problems with them and have plenty on hand in all different pin configurations (2/3/4 pins)! First the connectors are well made. The plastic molds for male/female connectors are strong, solid and free from the plastic glare found on less expensive connectors. Second, the weather resistant yellow plastic/rubber spacers are easy to install and well made.
