Our son has an expensive basketball that he wanted to show off. It was shipped quickly. This is a beautiful piece on the wall and works well for its intended purpose.

They look great in my son's room and are still holding up. The pre-drilled holes were initially uneven, but my husband re-drilled them to be flush with the wall. I like the look of the wood and black metal.

Very happy with it. The wood is excellent quality and they were three times cheaper than the teenage pottery barn. The kit included pre-drilled holes on the back and a mounting mechanism. However, I was able to use Rubbermaid's hook and loop tapes without damaging the wall.

So these are DIY shelves. They don't come assembled but are fully detachable and you have to screw the metal part into the boards yourself. ALSO there are no holes to help you orient yourself or make sure the metal part is centered. I wish this information was clearer when purchasing because there was another non-assembly option that cost less money, but I chose it because of the wood.

I was very happy to receive it, despite what some of the reviews say. That being said, I wish I had listened. I took photos so you can see. You will receive 2 screws per item. You must insert the screws opposite each other as their holes do not line up. Let me add that screwing them in from a distance is a pain. I realize they have a lot more in their pottery shed, but the old adage "you get what you pay for" applies here. I would pay more for a quality product. The tree as in the photo was not

I like the metal bezel - great idea and great price. There were two in the kit but I only used one because the other had a rim that was twisted relative to the screw plate - this meant that either the metal plate on the back of the rim was bent or the rim was crooked. The other metal edge was fine. Another problem is that you have to use a wooden base plate, otherwise the edge doesn't protrude far enough from the wall and a normal basketball touches the wall.
