Convenient and accurate on multi-parameter gauges

We use these to test coolant for our machines and they work really well, just wish they would hold up a little better but it's more likely a coolant problem than a pocket tester.

Pros
  • Industry and Science
Cons
  • So far so good

Fixed pH Pen in Multivariable Meters

Best pH pen I have ever used. I tried Hannas and Octon but I liked this one better. The Peru takes a few seconds to get a reading, but it does a good job of calibration and seems really solid. If you're taking a lot of readings, the lag can be annoying, but then again, don't look at the pen while you wait for the reading to stabilize.

Pros
  • Multivariable Meters
Cons
  • Questionable purchase for seniors

Very slow and finicky

I purchased this unit after using the Myron L Ultrameter II for a year with amazing accuracy. This pen is way behind their other product. First, unlike an ultrameter, it had to be calibrated right out of the box. Even after that, I got different readings for the same sample, differing by up to 2 points, not 0.2 seconds. This paragraph takes a long time to witness. at least 30 seconds. At nearly $200 this thing should be perfect.

Pros
  • Analyzer
Cons
  • Large and bulky
