Please buy another set, not only were there no instructions, the lamp goes out after a few seconds and works randomly but about half the colors are too thin/liquid and translucent, they don't look like the pictures and after you're done the nails are never quite dry or set, once they touch the water they stand out from the edges off. So dissatisfied and disappointed as it was my daughter's Christmas present and I feel like it was garbage money.

I would really like to read the reviews before buying. My box came, as many said, "Total mess." There was glitter everywhere and to make matters worse, the red paint was exposed and ended up on many basecoat tubes and bottles. So disappointed. The second box came today and it was worse than the first. I really wanted to try this, I guess I need to find something else.

The product arrived fairly quickly, nothing was damaged but personally I will never buy it again. I painted my sister's nails with polygel, definitely a lot harder than what is pictured. When you put the nail cap on it rises creating bubbles and when you press on it all the gel oozes out the sides leaving a thin layer of gel on the nail. This was my first experience with polygel and my own nails. They came out pretty good for my first time. Everything was pretty easy to use. The only thing I had to do extra was cure my nails 2-3 times to make sure they were fully cured. I think it's worth adding modeling strips to the kit as double molds aren't for everyone. As others have said this happened and the black gel and glitter came off. Every item you picked up covered your hands in a black, shiny gel. I have cleaned each item and used the products. The next day my fingertips were sore and swollen with an itchy rash around the cuticle area of most of my fingers. Practice makes perfect, best to push back the cuticles first and use a nail dryer first, then let the base dry under UV light for two to three minutes.
