I bought 4 packs to use as axle mounts. The hole is not large enough to use the specified size chain as a choker. 3/8 chain does not fit round end. Disappointment is putting it mildly!

These are good quality hammer locks. I like the price instead of buying them locally. I use them in my work and haven't had any problems with them.

This is the optimum size hammerlock for attaching a small trailer to a Ford Super Duty truck with an absurd hitch configuration. They are so small that even the smallest 1/4" security chain can snap into place. I now have a set of blue jumbo hambo locks on my truck for the large trailers and these yellow ones for the small trailers.
