Imagine trying to put wrapping paper on your window so it doesn't even fall or crease. That's exactly how it looks like. The product appears to work well, but the actual installation is an absolute nightmare. If you hit it that hard or hold it wrong, it will bend forever. 4 stars for its effectiveness, 1 star because I'm annoyed that it's such a delicate flower that I now have to order a new roll.

If you are using a room with strict blackout this is great but make sure the window is not in direct sunlight. I installed last night, 8am this morning, the window felt so hot I thought my window was about to break. I have GILA on all other windows and have never felt so warm. So I compared my son's room on the same side of the house where there was no tent at all and the windows were cool. Very good film. Remember this is a double edged sword. During the day it blocks an incredible amount of sunlight, but you can still see through it from the inside. You CANNOT look inside. At night it's the other way around. If there isn't a bright light outside, you can't see outside. The film was easy to apply by following the instructions and using two people. This film (very dark) has transformed the comfort and privacy of my home and I absolutely love it. I wish I had received it sooner. Due to the style of our windows, our blinds leave a small gap and let in a lot of light. We had to find a solution for our windows that are exposed to direct daylight, especially for the children's room, so that it doesn't get dark while they sleep.
