I bought these from Amazon because they were cheaper than local stores and they had free shipping. The guards seem fine, but a lot smaller than the 1" you get at the store. I measured the felt with a caliper and saw it was only 0.83". It's too small for my chairs, so he goes back.

I really thought that this product had some sort of nail underneath it, but that's not the case. There is a round dot underneath that will require the use of a hammer to get them stuck under the bottom of your chairs and table. I bought two packs based on other reviews but one pack is more than enough. So far I'm very happy I bought this product for my kitchen table and four chairs.

I was skeptical at first but needed a better solution than what I had tried before. I was surprised how easy they were to install on my chairs in a short amount of time. I turn a chair upside down on the counter and tap, tap, tap. The chair is made. to the next. Now my chairs slide silently and I'm so happy ;) I haven't had them long enough to test their durability, but I don't see much reason for a problem. The price for the quantity suited me.
