Ultimate Storage Solution: Nalgene Transparent Lexan Square Storage Bottle Review

I've looked through many bottles to find one that is really odor resistant, has no aftertaste and is lightweight. While this bottle is inflexible and rigid, making it a little less convenient to pack on the go, it does meet the flavor requirements that were paramount as it was intended to be my whiskey bottle. I recommend this bottle for storing whiskey on the go.

Great bottle for salad dressings and leftover juices. The plastic has never faded. This is the third one I've bought because the other two above are cracked and broken. I think the solution is not to hesitate. See photo. Senior on the right. Also note how clear the bottle remains after years of mixing olive oil and balsamic vinegar.

They are great for camping as they won't break or leak if dropped. There's nothing sadder than all the liquor bottles falling out of the closet in the van and smashing on the floor. But I tried a diesel fuel additive in one and Lexan started to break down so don't store petroleum products in it.

Although designed for laboratory use, they are perfect for a small backpack or handbag. I have large bottles and mugs that I use at home and at work, but I hate carrying them around. It's the perfect size for commuting, daily trips, etc. I love the super transparent and square shape. Never leaks and seems to be quite durable like all Nalgenes.

When purchasing a specific sized bottle I looked everywhere but couldn't find the dimensions. Here they are: The 8 ounce bottle is 5 5/8 inches high and 2 1/4 inches square (viewed from below). It holds 10 ounces all the way to the top. It fits perfectly in my purse, so I'm happy! However, it would require a toxic dirt remover to remove the dirt from the sticker, so I sealed the sticky area with clear tape.

I was looking for something to take milk and other liquids to work for lunch. Found it recently and ordered it. THIS IS THE BEST. Doesn't leak or add flavor to what's inside. I'll buy a few more of these for some groceries. Just don't waste your time with the other items shown. None of them will work better, PERIOD! Let's see if they make some with larger sizes and holes to fit larger and bulkier items.

I bought this to use cream for making coffee. I've tried several different containers and Lexan seems to work best for storing cream. Easy to clean and I prefer the clear Nalgene bottle. I also plan to use the 4 ounce version of this to store my balsamic vinegar when I go out to eat. I have a favorite vinegar, so I always carry it with me when I use it. I would like someone to suggest a 500ml bottle - seems odd, I can buy 1L, 250ml but not 500ml.

These Nalgene bottles are fine; they are exactly as expected. Just the fact that two product/shipping labels were attached to each bottle was enough to score this aspect zero. After two days of soaking bottles in water to remove the labels, I ended up having to use multiple applications of Goo Gone to remove the labels and adhesive. Why couldn't these labels be removed?
