I love my new Nantucket bike basket! It's very durable, just the right size/shape and the price was great! I was able to install it on my bike quickly and easily; The basket is quite roomy, looks perfect! I highly recommend this product. I have attached a photo.

I wanted a quality, durable basket so I thought it was worth it as this basket is quite expensive. The basket is great and while the straps are stylish, it broke entirely in half upon installation. I contacted the company for a replacement band and never heard from them. It's a shame to spend so much on a nice basket because a poor quality strap will render it useless.

I bought a classic Nantucket kids bike basket for my daughter's Trek bike (26" wheels). This basket is great! It is made from thick, durable rattan that has a beautiful vintage look. It is simply attached to the steering wheel with two leather straps. My daughter easily fits a water bottle, polaroid camera, light cardigan and small magazine with little space for small items. My daughter gets endless compliments wherever we bike and now she's the envy of the neighbors! We love it. A+

I was very happy with this basket! For a while I thought about what shape to choose - will the oval be big enough? Should I get a Dshape basket so I can carry more and it fits well etc? Leather straps don't tighten very much on my bike. As if "belt holes" were punched in the wrong places. And I have a cruiser and I thought these panniers were made for that in the first place. In addition, the basket is covered with a kind of varnish that sometimes takes on an unpleasant gray tone if it is exposed to too much sun or heat. I was so excited to get this basket but when I received it and started looking at it I noticed that it was much darker than the picture and a lot in it was of obvious little black spots around some of the branches/vines. I thought it was mold but I don't know what it was. I also felt that some woven areas looked a bit inconsistent and could be woven better. It sat a little oddly at first on my coral Electra Townie 7D, but I managed to tighten the wires to keep the basket from wobbling and interfering with surrounding equipment like my bell, phone holder, brakes, gear shift, etc. Aesthetically, it looks very classic.
