Leather straps don't tighten very much on my bike. As if "belt holes" were punched in the wrong places. And I have a cruiser and I thought these panniers were made for that in the first place. In addition, the basket is covered with a kind of varnish that sometimes takes on an unpleasant gray tone if it is exposed to too much sun or heat. I found out after leaving it in my car in 80 degree heat for three hours. It's cute, I love the shape, and you can carry a water bottle and have a snack in it. But I probably wouldn't have paid that much for it had I known about the color change and sloppy fit.
