Heavy material in bolts

Exactly as described. I bought it to plug electricity into the wall of my house before finding out the electric company supplied them for free. I'm using this one for something else, that's all.

Pros
  • Consistent test results
Cons
  • Not sure

China junk is good for fasteners

I don't know why we buy stuff like this from China. It's garbage. I had to recut the shaft so I could screw the nut onto it. The coating filled the threads and the nut on top was very difficult to remove and useless once removed. Do not buy this if you intend to use it for its intended purpose. I ordered 5/8" eyebolts and also received china junk.

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • No performance

Definitely doesn't inspire confidence

I don't have any specs to support this observation, but like others who have commented negatively on the lack of these screws, the fit, finish, looks and the chunkiness of the Materials just don't give me enough confidence to use them to hold anything close to their advertised 2200lb capacity. Additionally, they come with a "not for overhead use” warning, further denting their credibility.

Pros
  • Free for educational purposes
Cons
  • Cable is shorter than other picks
