Perfect Cylindrical Gate Hinge

This cylindrical hinge pin was perfect for drilling and installing into my steel fence post. The hinge bushings of the gate set fit perfectly. Recommended when installing a gate and not using wooden fence posts, instead using steel posts for durability.

An 8 " bar will NOT fit an 8 " wooden bar as the nuts must also fit the bar.

I've never bought them, so I had no reason to believe that the 8" size isn't meant for the 8" rack! To be honest I expected that cutting the nuts minimally and having 8 inches between two washers would be enough. live and learn Now I have to order a 10" size and hope everything stays in place for another week without a gatekeeper.
