The base is made of artificial materials. I highly doubt Natural Milan. it is wool. I have many wool items, including other real furs, and this doesn't look like it at all. The fur feels plastic, it doesn't smell of wool but of chemicals. The one I received is not natural lambswool in my opinion.

I've had sheepskins before and this one is definitely authentic. The fur is thick, does not fall off (not a single strand), the color is pleasant, it does not fray. The back is genuine leather. I bruised my tailbone a few weeks ago and use it as padding on a leather chair and it adds to the comfort. It is so beautiful, I will buy at least one more.

I bought this to use as a seat cover for my road bike. The shape fits perfectly as ordered. After a few rides my wife and I found the cover to be too thick and uncomfortable after a long day. I took a trimmer and trimmed it down to about 1.25 inches. It made the cover look so much better and it looks even prettier!

I ordered this rug for my baby. I was impressed with the quality, especially compared to cheaper alternatives. The lining is in great shape and not cheap, and the sheepskin is nice and plush. I'm giving this low rating because the seller advertises this as a prime item with free returns, but charges you $5 to return the item. I don't usually leave a bad review for a good product, but I do need to point out false advertising.

I bought these because the fabric in my caravan is slippery and guests have complained that I can't sit still! hahaha. The skins are soft and fluffy as you would expect. They stay on the slippery "ultra skin" and prevent slipping off the furniture. I bought four of these. They were advertised as a whole skin, not put together, but one of them is put together. You can't see it from above, so I don't care. Recommend!
