My Shepherd gained at least 10-12 pounds from the previous Purina food we fed her so I started to exercise her more but the weight continued to gain. When I went to the vet he recommended this food and it's only been about two weeks and I can tell a difference. Now I can see her hips and feel her ribs again. It's high in fiber, so your dog will go to the bathroom more often. If you are looking for a good weight loss food for a large dog, try this one. My dog doesn't mind the taste, he eats with

No more diarrhea. Good for eating

I really like this food so far. I have 2 female Siberian Husky dogs who love to eat and are therefore overweight. Due to the low calorie and fiber content of this food, you can eat enough to feel full. They lost a few pounds and only had about a month to eat this food. However, they tend to poop more. No wonder with the fiber content. However, one of the reasons I REALLY love this food is that it has caused one of our dogs to have frequent loose stools which is a permanent normal! HOORAY. I…

Choosing a dietary food for dogs is very difficult. .

It is very difficult to choose a diet food for dogs. Although I haven't weighed my dog yet (it's only been two weeks since I've finished dressing), his coat is already shiny! After reading the reviews I was a little apprehensive about switching to the Natural Balance Fat Dogs food as some customers have complained of diarrhea and large bowel movements. My dog is a service dog and comes to work every day. I took my time with the replacement, only adding 1/4 cup of new food every 4 days and…

  • Big and bulky

The ONLY thing that kept my older fat dog from the extra weight. However, I had to give up what they recommended to get there. Ate 1/2 cup regular meals twice a day. Fat Dog's label recommended her 1 cup twice a day. I think we did 3/4 twice a day and she actually gained a pound. I spoke to the vet and they agreed that dog food vendors sell dog food. Now that we've put her on a diet but back to her usual 1/2 cup a day, she's losing weight very slowly. She is a Corgi and they tend to be…

Honest Review: Food

First. I have nothing to do with ko. or seller. I'm only writing this review because it cured my sick dog. I have a 5 year old female Golden Retriever. I've been feeding her Natural Balance dry powder since she was a puppy. I was a reasonably happy customer. Look back. Her stools were irregular. The intervals between bowel movements are 3 days and are not at all formed and soft. I got very fat about 6 months ago. It's my fault for feeding her leftovers. She bulked up from a healthy 68 pounds to

Not the lowest calorie diet dog food

Exactly two weeks ago I adopted my first dog, Maple, in about 12 years from a rescue organization. She is a four year old mixed breed. We think it's a German Shepherd and a Shiba Inu. She was generally healthy except that she was overweight. The vet estimates her healthy weight at 50 to 60 pounds. She currently weighs 85 pounds, so she has a long journey ahead of her. Maple HATED the Purina diet food she was fed at the sanctuary. The staff recommended that I take her to the vet to develop a…
