I bought this product with safety in mind. Very easy to install and use. I uploaded a video showing how this unit works, when it detects a gas leak it starts beeping until it goes back to normal, I stopped recording after 2 but eventually it comes down to 0 normal.

I put one of these in the basement next to the stove and kettle. Yesterday I had some work done on my gas lines and the whole basement absolutely reeked of gas but this alarm didn't make a sound or register anything. I doubt the usefulness of a product that doesn't detect gas concentrations strongly enough to smell.

It is so dangerous when you have a product that they claim that it gives you early warning if a gas leak occurs, especially for this company they claim that it is indeed the case when I was using it and it was near the Plugs stuck next to the gas stove and then when I turn on the gas nothing happens how rude this company is that they will sell anything that could endanger public safety

I installed this unit next to a 15000 BTU gas stove. I turned on the burner, blew out the flame, and let the gas run for about 15 seconds. The device was plugged into an outlet 13 inches from a gas burner. The alarm clock never rang. I then connected the unit to the power cord and ran the same test for about 20 seconds with the unit directly over the gas burner for about 20 seconds. Still no reading, no alarm clock! Enough said. you have been warned I buy a corporate block.

This saved my family's life! We started smelling something we couldn't locate. Sometimes I smelled a faint smell of gas, but I wasn't sure. We got this and it started shutting off at random times of the day (beep around level 3)! I called the gas company and they found several gas leaks!
