I loved this product!

This was supposed to be a product you use under more expensive fibers but I enjoyed using it - it felt easy to the desired degree of hardness and it felt smooth to the touch, without bumps and bubble formation. I already have a second box and would recommend anyone wanting to try a different fiber to buy this. I spent several days measuring the amount of fiber right out of the box and then felting it for the head (circle) or body (oval). Then I saved the information on a separate piece of paper

Pros
  • 29.5 micron (for quick felting)
Cons
  • Out of fashion

Excellent starting yarn for spinning

I bought this because I wanted a lot of wool at a great price to spin wool again. It was the highest amount for the lowest price, so I was sold. I wasn't sure what to expect but overall I was very happy with the purchase. For some reason (and it was me) the yarn comes in the box shown in the picture, I thought it came in a plastic tin. It's boxed, which is nice that they cram 8 ounces into such a small box. I would recommend a different storage container as the box is not very secure. The wool…

Pros
  • Natural undyed roving wool from Corriedale Cross sheep.
Cons
  • I don't remember but there was something

Requires a lot of effort to craft the core

I have used Corriedale 8 oz cream on my pet's marrow. I've found it takes a lot of work to get the shape you want, but it's relatively cheap wool for the amount you get and makes a great base for your animal. It just takes longer to get a solid core. The nice thing is that this creamy white can also be used for white spots on the animal. You don't have to add white. Just use an open core. For felting needles I recommend an assorted set consisting of a long and a short needle. The long one is…

Pros
  • Approximately 8 ounces of wool. May vary up to +/- 0.3 ounces.
