Waste of money in groceries

Waste of money. There is not enough space for BBQ and directions are not clear. You'd better go online and see what you need and how to breed crickets. You spend the same amount and get more results.

Pros
  • Delivery was very fast
Cons
  • Needs an outlet

Doesn't work at all. cocoa.

I followed the instructions in the email and saw them laying eggs but nothing hatched. I literally have a thousand crickets but none were born from that crappy kit. If I could get my money back I would. They only hatch from my cricket enclosures.

Pros
  • Pleasant to use
Cons
  • I will add later

Feed and parts, not a complete set

Decent breeding material and feed but container is too small for real breeding. In addition, it is sealed, which is harmful to crickets and promotes mold. Order this for food and a small rearing dish, but place in a large tank for rearing success.

Pros
  • Quality construction
Cons
  • Not bad

Unnecessary purchase.

I feel stupid buying this. There is no real need for this. If you already have crickets that you groom for your pets, you already have food and water for those crickets. All you need to grow is soil with a mesh over it. And warm room. Anyway, this product is good for kids practicing or beginning growers.

Pros
  • Best in niche
Cons
  • Questionable purchase for seniors

It's basically a set of rubbish and dirt bins

I was very disappointed when this item was received and opened. Basically, what you get is a "take-out container" with a bowl of soil, a small cup of gels, and a small cup of kibble. The container has no air holes, so you have to pierce the plastic yourself. Also, the instructions are full of typos and a bit confusing. I really hope I haven't wasted 17.00 for nothing. I could certainly research a little further and make my own for 1/2 the cost.

Pros
  • Ideal for a small house
Cons
  • Not automatic

I bought this set because I wanted to know what all the noise was about. Now I see the instructions are a bit misleading but the kit itself is good and it works but there are steps you need to take. 1- You need a separate terrarium to get started. Place it in another terrarium. 3- Place egg carton trays in your terrarium to give them room to crawl. 4- Put food and whole bites of green crickets in your terrarium lamp to ensure breeding, keep the temperature at 89 degrees. It's time to add the…

Pros
  • Sturdy construction
Cons
  • There are flaws
