The taste is disgusting.

I have been drinking Spiru-Tein soy protein drinks for over a decade and have decided to give whey protein a try. Unfortunately I waited too long to open it to send it back. The soy product has a very different taste - this one is awful and although I tried adding banana and then cocoa powder there was a strong chemical aftertaste. Don't buy it if you want something delicious.

TOO SWEET! BY TASTE!

I have been drinking this product daily for many years. The taste has changed a lot. Now it's too cute. quarter spoon! I noticed a change a few years ago but have never written a review until now. I've been drinking Nature's Plus Spirutein Vanilla Whey every morning for 10 years! Terrible aftertaste, like artificial sweeteners. Please bring it back the way it was before!

My Favorite Protein Drink

I tried many brands and ended up with Vanilla Spiru-Tein Whey for its nutritious richness and healthy taste. The vitamin and mineral profile is great, it's not based on soy protein, and frozen fruit makes it easy to whip up something cool, delicious, and new for a post-workout breakfast smoothie every morning.
