The smell is overwhelming. I even applied it outside but the smell follows the dog everywhere. This is similar to the pine aroma level. I can't imagine these scents soothing the skin. So far my dog's skin is still irritated. I will try but will not buy again.

This product has literally saved me countless trips to the vet for hot spots. It's easy to apply, although it doesn't smell very nice. It smells very antiseptic, although that goes without saying and it doesn't bother me or my dogs. In most cases I see a noticeable improvement after using it overnight. The stain may be angry and red when applied, but the next day is a beautiful healing pink. I will definitely keep buying.

I have tried several skin products for my dachshund and they never worked. This is the ONLY product that works for his itch. I spray it on the bruised area of his paw and rub it in. I use this several times a day. Its hairless, reddish paws heal within 2 days of use. Whenever I see him licking his paws, I spray and rub it in once before he starts kicking again. This immediately stops him from licking.

I bought this because my puppy kept trying to bite his leg off. The stuff worked, and after he sprayed it on, he usually stopped itching within minutes. The hardest part was getting it. My dog was immediately terrified of the product and I had to chase the fluffy cotton ball around the house before I could hold it long enough to use it. At the same time, the spray lies well on the skin and has a pleasant but intense mint scent. Overall I would recommend it.

This is the THIRD spray we have tried for our very anxious cat. He has patches over his tail that he constantly gnaws and pulls out his hair. The other two sprays seemed to work, but then he either became more tolerant of them or became irritable after using them, leaving him craving more. it appears to reduce itching, moisturize, or do anything to prevent its triggers.
