🧭 Enhanced Navionics MSD for Eastern Area Review

I've been using the mobile version for a few years now. I bought a chip this year, which is good, but there's more of it on a $15 phone than on this $100+ phone.

As an avid striped bass fisherman. My boat often maneuvers in shallow water areas with rocky obstructions. I was always afraid to be on those rocks. Now I can fish without fear and see where dangers lurk.

Got a Navionics East chart and installed it in my 7" Humminbird Mega Helix sonar. After I installed the card, did the device recognize the card as a fish and chip card? The ocean mapping wasn't very impressive. The Humminbird basemap looked better and was easier to read. I checked lakes in upstate New York and the maps show a lot more data with more contours. Ideal for sea fishermen. Incredible details.

The price was great for an unencumbered Navonics. Installing the app was easy. and then maps. It says we have free updates for 1 year. Went out and caught a lot of fish. Find out new things about the area in which we operate.

The product has been used. According to Navionics, it was activated and registered by someone else on May 11, 2019. I bought it on 08/25/2019. Now it's useless without paying for the $100 Navionics subscription, which is free with initial activation.

The first thing I don't like is the price. It shouldn't cost that much. More competition is needed in this area. What I like: everything else. I've only had it for a few months, but it has way more features than I'll ever need. And I love the fact that I can update it regularly throughout the year. Works well with my Lowrance Hook9. Very good product.
