Exactly as advertised

I have worn several shirts of this type on outdoor work to protect from the sun (kayaking, outdoor work etc.). Some of the very expensive ones are pretty nice, soft and work well. Cheaper ones tend to be hard and scratch so they can't be worn all day. I'm happy to report that they seem to be filling the gap pretty well. They are soft and fit well. I bought a medium and it fits great (6ft 0/165lbs). Surprisingly, they are packaged quite nicely. It's not like storing a thick plastic zippered bag.

Cons
  • Hard to tell

light and comfortable

I wore these shirts every day on the Camino de Santiago. They wick moisture/sweat away from the skin but the best part is that when it's windy it not only cools your torso but also your arms, which has a much stronger cooling effect than a short sleeve shirt while still providing sun protection without sunscreen lotion. (Exposed skin still needs sunscreen) They hold up to daily hand washing and aggressive hand push-ups. They retain moisture, so drying in direct sunlight can take a long time due

Wearing is no warmer than SS shirt

I bought it to protect my hands from the sun. I've recently started cycling and hiking more and I hate the feeling of sunscreen on my skin. At first I was worried that I would get a lot hotter due to the lack of skin contact on my arms. Although I noticed that my arms didn't blow in the wind, I didn't actually feel any warmer than I did in a short-sleeved shirt. I bought the size XL and it was exactly as expected. I'm 6ft 1in, 235lbs and wear a 46 coat. According to my doctor I need to lose…

Pros
  • Special sportswear
Cons
  • No performance

Good product for the money

I bought this shirt because I'm prone to sunstroke. Small itchy patches, sometimes with blisters, caused by sun exposure due to basil cell skin cancer. I've used it about 4 times in the Florida sun. It does a good job. Only a little sun breaks through. I have small frames and even small men's clothes are a bit big, but that's pretty typical in my experience. I do not care. I only use it for kayaking. The material is also very comfortable on the skin. Ideal coverage for people with sun-sensitive
