Works as advertised

So far this has been a good player for my purposes. I only use it once a day for about 30 minutes to listen to meditation CDs. Reliable and works as advertised. A couple of notes: keep a few spare AA batteries handy, because when they run out they'll suddenly run out, and you'll probably want to replace the included headphones, they don't transfer sound very well.

Pros
  • Great product
Cons
  • Something different

Not portable, very fast

Plays CDs well, but skips that others have complained about are no joke. Even on a stable surface, if you knock off it or a truck drives by outside, it will slide. It's good enough on the shelf where I use it to play music for my kid, but "personal CD player" makes it sound like it's portable, like an old-school disc player, but it is Not. If you try to carry it around, it's constantly scanning to find its place. Kind of a joke.

Pros
  • Hands-free
Cons
  • Very expensive

Battery is annoying, cracks and is cheaply made then stops working

Haven't had them long enough to see if they die right away but wouldn't be surprised if they do soon would, because it's a pretty weak disc player. It uses batteries like crazy because it takes a ton of electricity to run. My charger says the batteries are almost full when this player fails and you need to put in a new pair. And if you touch it even lightly, it will slip. This is pure crap. Everything about it looks cheap. If it cost $15-20 I still wouldn't want it. I will most likely return…

Pros
  • Absolute Legend
Cons
  • Great Price
