Dangerous black mould! The sage looks fine from the outside but when I opened it it was covered in black mold. Black mold is very dangerous, especially when it is released in the form of smoke, such as when it is burned. I definitely don't recommend anyone to buy them. I contacted the dealer and they said there was nothing they could do to fix the situation.

GREAT SAGE. WE REGULARLY PUT MASKS TO CLEAN OUR HOME, OUR BODY, OUR PROPERTY. THIS COMPANY IS SIMPLY GOOD. For a while, when the 5 dogs in the neighborhood barked, I would come to the fence and let me get them dirty and sit down immediately. Her owner yelled at her all the time. I bought LOTS of sage. This is the only strain I was REALLY dissatisfied with. I decided to try another brand so I ordered these because they were cheap. The sage spears were SMALL, less than half the size of a "regular" sage. stick, for example the ones I bought from other sources. It also smells awful when lit. like dirt. Definitely not a real sage smell. SAVE MONEY AND DON'T BUY THIS!

Our house in Houston is haunted because we seem to think there might have been a double homicide in the 70's. Considering the price this is the best deal for me. Based on the mixed reviews I thought it was sage - a stem rather than a leaf. However, my bundles consisted mostly of leaves. No matter what, there will be stems - they provide the basic structure on which the stick is placed and dried. I've been smearing for a while and been through a lot of sage. Of all the sages I've ever bought to mix, this has to be the best in terms of potency. The sticks are fresh, tightly woven and have a great, strong scent of white sage. The main reason I will buy again is the simplicity of the tanning sticks! Product as described, wrapped in newspaper (I love eco-friendly packaging) and I received the product in 3 days. The sage smelled great and is true California sage. It burned for a long time and didn't die until I blew out the fire (see the video I uploaded). I got my whole house dirty in 10 minutes and I have almost an entire floor left.
