The center column is poorly designed and manufactured

I had to return two of these - I can't get the third one. There is an issue with the center column, which consists of two tubes bolted together. The first tripod I came across had a curved center column. The second had an issue where the two halves of the center column would not stay together. Two tripods with defects in one place is a design problem. I strongly advise against buying this tripod. Just buy a good, full-size, flat tripod and set it on the table. Don't bother.

    Everything started so well

This product only lasted a few weeks. The arm/rod holding the camera's ball head separates and no longer stays together (pictured). This isn't the part that gets screwed on and off all the time. The only adjustment I ever made was to re-tighten it when it came loose. His stunning failure is an unacceptable mystery. I am VERY VERY disappointed in my wasted money here. I didn't want to mention it, but now that this bug has surfaced, that's it. Leg extension mechanisms are plastic and apparently…

Balances my Nikon D7500 in many ways!

I bought this tripod for an upcoming trip to Jasper National Park and wanted it to fit in my luggage and also be able to balance with my heavy Nikon D7500 camera. As you can see from the photos it does a great job! I especially like the camera mount thumbscrew as it has a small grip along with a slot. I never seem to have a dime or a dime when I need it. It is very durable and well-made aluminum. I also like how the legs can be adjusted and fixed at any height. I've added some additional photos

Very unstable setup with poorly designed center column

Contrary to other reviewers I have no problems with my legs. For my intended use, which is low-level macro photography, I have no problems with my feet. The appearance of the mechanism is different from other tripods, but it can still be used. As others have pointed out, the main issue with this tripod is the center column. The clamping screw rests on a very small area plate which applies low torque and allows the column to rotate easily about its longitudinal axis. It is almost impossible to…

What is the best travel tripod? This of course depends entirely on your needs. In my case, I didn't want to tie a full-size family tripod to my bag. But I needed a tripod strong enough to capture some landscape and astrophotography shots on the trip. And who knows what I might see that might inspire me to take a photo that would require a tripod. After getting a travel tripod that extends to 63 inches for the first time, I was dismayed. It was heavy and the size was much larger than would be…

Love how sturdy and compact this little guy is

Overall this is a good product. I love how compact it gets and how long its legs extend. I wasn't sure which of the two mini tripods Revain was offering and no one else had any comparisons so I took both to compare. on hand to help me decide which one is best for me and my needs. There was also no information or infographics on the details of disassembling any of the products. I really wanted to see if I could break down any tripod into a monopod for manual stabilization. I like this tripod for many reasons: 1) It is very compact. Dual folding legs with oversized stops for perfect height adjustment. 2) Very durable. Stable as a rock (Camera won't shake or shake) 3) Bubble levels are built into the head! Holy &%$#, this is amazing. 4) The quick release buckle makes it easy to switch cameras. 5) It is very affordable. 6) He is beautiful. Customers ask for it all the time. Plastic main tube 😯👎

After several months of use, this tripod is completely disappointing. At first glance it seems so well put together for the price. But that is by no means the case, because the center bar, around which all the beautiful metal parts are gathered, consists of a slippery cheap plastic tube. The thumbscrew that attaches to it is the smallest on the tripod, and yet this is where you have to use the most force as the plastic will slip off. You can tighten it all you want, but the end of the screw…

    The best mini tripod.

I have had a Slik mini and a Bestshoot Desktop min. I have owned the Slik the longest but it seems to be the cheapest of them all. It also has no ball head and the adjustment lever protrudes unnecessarily for my purpose. Although this is the cheapest feeling, if not abused it will last a long time. I've had mine for over 5 years now and it still works perfectly. The maximum height on the slick is 9 inches. The minimum size is probably around 7. Next is Bestshoot. It's heavier and much stronger.
