All in all this is a great product.

All in all a great product. I took it to Europe and it was great. But due to its weight with the camera, it moved a little when it was windy.

Pros
  • Done
Cons
  • Only available in white

Every photographer should have a best monopod.

Finally decided to buy a monopod. Great product for a camera or mounting a flash in a hot shoe on the side. I'll definitely be getting another much more portable than lightweight stand, and I'll find it easier to hold a DSLR with a 300mm zoom lens.

Pros
  • Easy installation
Cons
  • No paint required

Good investment in camera and photography

Stands well on both flat surfaces and grass/ground as it comes with a small tripod. The best part about its design is that the stand detaches to reveal a spike that can lock the monopod into the ground for amazing stability. It's very easy to carry and walk around and is compact enough to fit in the side pocket of my backpack.

Pros
  • One year trial
Cons
  • Contact seller

Good monopod suitable for tripods and monopods

This is exactly what I needed. I use it for my Canon T7i. It's strong enough to handle the weight with a longer telephoto lens. The tripod legs on the bottom work well when I'm using it where I can put it on a stable surface or floor. I still wouldn't mind leaving the camera alone, I have a tripod for that. I took my feet off and stepped back onto the top and used it too. Works great and for the price it's a good monopod that I would buy again. So far no problems.

Pros
  • Very good value for money
Cons
  • Unbelievable price

Great monopod for photography and photography

I bought this Neewer monopod to replace the regular base monopod I have used for years. The old one served me well, but the head eventually broke in half, forcing me to abandon the unit to serve as a spare tent pole. I was sad to see him go until a new one came along. Then sad that the old ones didn't die before then. The Neweer monopod folds to a shorter length, stronger and much more flexible. I added a ball head to make a complete system for almost any purpose. I thought a small tripod leg…

Pros
  • Pleasing
Cons
  • Mostly good but...

That works great! in Camera & Photo

I bought this monopod for outdoor family photography and it works great! The removable spike was good for me to stick into the ground and get a good feel for, and with a strap and top layer of foam it would never slip out from under me. I use a foot base on it, when I use it indoors it doesn't scratch or slip and screws right onto it. It's easy to slide it out and back in with the twist locks, I can get the height I want in a more customized setting than a standard tripod.

Pros
  • COMFORTABLE AND SUPER DURABLE: Foam grip for comfortable grip and stability; The included strap
Cons
  • is not reliable

It works and won't break the bank

I added a video where I enlarge the photo. On my first hike, I took my Z7 with me. I used a new monopod and I have to be the first to admit that I wasn't sure the monopod would do the job. I needed a monopod for my 600mm lens. It would have been incredibly difficult to take this photo handheld. The monopod exceeded my expectations and proved very useful for my gear bag. It was compact enough to slip into the side pocket of my camera backpack, but strong enough to support the weight of my lens…

Pros
  • STURDY DESIGN: Includes carbon fiber camera monopod and tripod base, strong and durable; Note. The camera is not included. Note. When the camera is mounted on a monopod, you must hold the monopod with one hand, otherwise it will fall and damage your camera.
Cons
  • boring packaging

Unstable monopod when used with included stand

The monopod itself is decent and can be extended to the advertised height. However, the base that comes with this monopod is a complete joke as it has very short, flat legs. Extending the monopod more than 3 feet will make the base unstable and probably won't even support a phone, let alone a DSLR. When you extend the monopod to a maximum height of 66 inches, forget to even use the base as it's very unstable at that height and I wouldn't risk putting my $1,000 phone on it. The product images…

Pros
  • RETRACTABLE MONOPOD: Monopod can be extended up to 66"/168cm by folding down to 19.68"/50cm; Max loading weight is 11lbs/5kg for optimal performance
Cons
  • Questionable purchase for the elderly
