Worth buying Better lighting

Worth every penny! Worked perfectly with my Nikon camera. Big bright flashes! Rechargeable, free to use in hand or on a stand, I love that I don't have to fiddle or fiddle with cords and there's also a wireless transmitter which is great when using it outside. The screens are bright and easy to read, allowing me to use them at night with no problems viewing or setting.

It's everything I ever dreamed of. no flimsy limits like 320 SP (shutter speed) limit Bruh, I shoot at SP2000 then switch to SP400 then turn around and switch to SP80. doping Needless to say I'm happy.

HSS • Reliable build quality • Good turnaround time

Received it yesterday and have been testing it for most of the day: so far so good! I am totally impressed with the protective packaging, solid build quality, clear instructions, ease of use and relatively quick cycle times. I'm happy to report that HSS works great! I'll be using it on set and in the studio later this week and will post again with an update. The controller fits easily on my D800 and D850 and works with any camera. I can't be happier at the moment.

Great but could do better

The packaging is very good and the built in foam is so tight (even a bit difficult to take out lol). Neewer has always been a very reliable brand because I bought ring lights, two sets of LED lights and four soft boxes from here. This flash is also excellent quality, I use it to connect my Nikon750, no problems at all. It has a wireless receiver so I don't have to buy it separately which saves me some money. The whole series of this Vision flash looks good, I plan to buy and try Vision4…

  • Nice packaging

Maybe I'm just good at it. Now I'm ordering 3 more

I don't understand the low reviews. It worked 100% in all areas without any problems. I use Nikon D750 and Nikon D610. HSS works without any problems at all. I have used in my studio and at two different weddings. Lots of battery life. I bought a second battery but didn't have a chance to use it. I don't store with the battery connected. Outdoors and in the studio I used a shutter speed of 4000 seconds to shoot from f1.8 to f2.8 with a Nikon 85mm f1.4 lens. Maybe I just got a good one. I have…

workhorses! on camera & photo

I have 2 of these. I've used it extensively over the past year. I'm a real estate photographer so I shoot an average of 15-20 properties a week with a few portrait sessions here and there. I wear these things to every shoot so I keep banging them against walls, furniture etc. I can't count the number of times I've dropped them or they've fallen off a stand that's too high and they keep shooting. The hoods are bent to shit from my constant bullying, but they're easy to replace. Also, I can…

Professional Equipment

Looks good and works as it should. I also have a Neewer octagon softbox umbrella. Place the combination well and most of your lighting is done! I photograph architecture so I needed the power to open the windows and the cover to balance the light to get the most out of the combination of flash and ambient light. I used it for a shoot and then left it for about 6 weeks while traveling. I connected the battery in the morning before my next shoot and it was fully charged in about 5 minutes! Both…

Great flashes, good for camera and photography

I bought two Vision 5 flashes (for Canon) a few months ago. I've used them indoors and outdoors. They are very light and the batteries last a long time, even when using modeling lights. I also noticed that the batteries charge quickly, so downtime is kept to a minimum. Love the fact that you can hold the flashes in your hands and also mount them on stands. The shutter button works fine but make sure it fits snugly on the camera's hot shoe or you might get some misfires, especially when holding…

  • Questionable purchase for seniors

Great monolight! No complaints!

I love this candy bar, it has taken my portrait photography to the next level! Some information about me - I'm a budget photographer. I have a full-time job and take photos part-time. However, I want to be able to offer my clients the best possible photography without breaking the bank on equipment. I was looking for a standalone flash that was portable, easy to use and affordable and the Vision 5 was it! It comes with everything you need to get started: flash, parabolic antenna, diffuser sock,
