Description of 🔌 H4 LED Headlight Wiring Harness Kit - Negative Switched Conversion - Fused - for 9003 H6054 H5054 H6054LL 6014 6052 6053 - Suitable for Subaru Toyota Head Lights

YOUR VEHICLE NEEDS THIS - Swapping out old headlights ( H6054 H5054 H6054LL 6014 6052 6053) for LEDs on negative switched vehicles like Toyota, Subaru, Mitsubishi, or Suzuki, is not a simple job. But with our plug-n-play conversion harness it can be!. CONVERSION MADE EASY - Save time, money, and headache by utilizing this wiring harness to convert a ground switched headlight system (2 toggled grounds + 1 constant hot) to a positive switched headlight system (2 toggled hots + 1 constant ground). NO LOW-QUALITY PARTS HERE - Designed with two durable relays, high-temperature ceramic headlight sockets, and heat-resistant polycarbonate wire loom. This harness is built to last. THE WAY IT SHOULD BE - We set out to build a harness that would install with as little effort as possible. The result? A conversion harness that takes only minutes to install and works every time. PRESERVE YOUR STOCK COMPONENTS - The beauty of this conversion harness is that you don't need to cut into your stock wiring harness. This dramatically reduces the install time, and if you need to, even makes the process completely reversible.

Ideal for LED headlights

Worked like a charm in my '88 Samurai, just had to route the driver's side light wire along the cold side A/C hose to keep it from running along the radiator. Face. Apart from using it with h4 led bulbs and Hella Vision lenses to upgrade the old lighting setup in my little samurai.

Pros
  • Weight
Cons
  • Wire shorter than others

Wire to the wrong contact.

The high beams didn't work on my 1988 Toyota pickup but I found out why. The load wire that supplies power to the two high beam wires was in the wrong place on the low beam relay. You need to pull out the wire on the middle pin of the low beam relay and solder it to the red positive wire of the low beam relay. This wire supplies power to the 2 high beam wires when the high beam is on. A wire in the wrong position was interfering with the high beam.

Works, but cheap components

So this works great on my Datsun. Used with 5.75" Harley Davidson headlights with high/low capability. But! But the relays are very noisy when turning on and off. And perhaps most alarmingly, the wiring for the power supply is 14 gauge (maybe even 16 Gauge) ) wiring disguised as 12 gauge.I discovered this because I wanted to use a waterproof fuse holder instead of the fuse holder provided. Seriously! I replaced the inadequate wiring but to do this I had to remove power to the relay. 3 stars…

If you have negative switching headlights, just buy them!

Converting my 1988 Toyota pickup to LED headlights. It was set up with negative light switching. Incandescent bulbs are non-polar so it doesn't matter, but for LEDs it does. bad idea.) Luckily, this wiring harness is a simple plug and play solution. It's assembled from components that you can buy and assemble yourself, but the cost savings are almost nil, and a fully assembled suspension is certainly a lot quicker than a do-it-yourself alternative. I am very happy with this purchase!

Didn't work for me, but I hope it works for you.

This is rubbish. Plugged it in to test before a full install and it didn't work properly. The high beams stayed on and the relays were questionable. Just the slightest movement of the relay turned on the high frequencies, which is definitely not desirable when installed in the front of the car. Cables were cheap too. I'm pretty sure it said they were 12 gauge, maybe there was an insulator, but the wire itself was 18 gauge at best. Also, I was better able to crimp the terminals with my bare…

Converts halogen headlights to LED headlights on a Suzuki Samurai

First impression Seat belts look well made. The instructions are pretty simple. I had to install 2 new chassis bases near each headlight. If you must do this, first remove the paint where you will be grounding. In my case I used fenders. To do this, I used stainless steel screws and attached a ground wire to each lighting location. When you're done, make sure you apply some type of rust remover to the sanded metal surface. The other thing you need to do is connect to a power source. The…

It worked until it stopped after nine months.

This kit was purchased in December 2020. Easy installation, parts looked good quality (past tense). Last week I rerouted some cables for a cleaner and safer setup. Disconnected both relays from the wiring harness which was quite tricky. Finally done. I inspected the forks and they were melted but not to the point of being unusable or dangerous. All cables rerouted and securely fastened, both grounds connected and all cables checked for correctness. I checked the headlights (not high beam)…

Pros
  • Excellent design
Cons
  • Problem

Instructions were easy. Although the instructions were written as if I were installing new LED headlights in parallel. I was not. I wanted to reroute the factory headlight power from the switch on the steering column and through the new wiring harness directly to the headlights. This increases the voltage on the headlights and should result in brighter headlights. This also diverts current from the headlight switch and prevents the normal "burn-in" of the headlight switch. I checked the voltage
