I bought this along with a B00IO3Z5MS jackhammer which I bought here specifically for breaking up and digging up my 950sf basement. This is a very heavy shovel that works with my jackhammer and works very well in packed clay and gravel. However, the jackhammer piston seems to have a hard time hitting the shaft.
