I am a graphic designer and use a Magic Mouse 2, I noticed how loud my mouse strokes were when using it on the bare desk and thought I should do my office a favor by trying to quiet my surface. I had previously bought a standard mousepad but I didn't exactly like the texture when paired with my mouse, and I felt that it performs better on a smoother surface. Therefore I bought this to use as a large mousepad. It's very well made and is perfect for my purposes.

A great desk pad. The less expensive ones come rolled up and never seem to lay flat. This is a quality pad. Has some thickness and was shipped in a large box so it did not have to be rolled up.

Would have preferred larger size. However this works! Lays 'flat' at once. Arrived in great shape. Ordered two more, now if they arrive in great shape I'll be a most satisfied customer.

I bought the Nekmit pad to replace a different one, very much the same in appearance, but showing wear after a couple of years. It was made by Satechi and purchased from Ebay. The main differences between the two mats are: the Nekmit is leather, while the Satechi is synthetic, and the Nekmit has a no-slip backing while the Satechi did not and was constantly sliding around on the desk. Tried another desk pad that was cheaper and that was a big mistake. When writing, the pen would go through the paper. This pad is perfect. Solid, beautiful, and comfortable to lean and write on. Mouse easily glides over the pad.

Looks good but slides too much. Will probably need to find something else more grippy yet flat for the bottom of this. May be slippery when writing or typing.
