Great nuts, much better than the cheap ones.

These are the best windshield cutout nuts I have ever seen. Oodles are better than the cheap ones on amazon and ebay. The screws are very good stainless screws. I use them on my motorcycle windshield and they have survived being removed and reinstalled multiple times and the rubber is still rebounding and the brass nuts in the neoprene have yet to come out. I would definitely buy them again.

Great, but for best results use a 3/8 bit!

My kayak's lines originally went through drilled holes and were held on the other side by metal clips that broke easily. I did a little research to find a solution and came across these nuts. Combined with the nylon webbing of the Propel Paddle Gear kayak, they performed exactly as I had hoped! I took another reviewer's advice and drilled the holes with a 3/8 bit, but otherwise followed the directions as posted. They were so easy to install!

Works well - Nuts

I bought a set of these to replace some broken rivets on my kayak. I opened the package, saw the instructions, it says to drill a 10mm hole. When I measured the size of the rubber it was closer to 9.2-9.4mm in diameter, as was the test drill with a 3/8" (9.52mm) drill bit in other test material and it held up well. My kayak has a 3/8" bore and it works well, maybe better than the 10mm bore. The outside of the well nut isn't particularly thick, so it can be difficult to remove as it locks in…
