works for me in watersports

I wore this while cleaning the bottom of my sailboat on Lake Michigan in May and June. Fits well, warms well, easy to put on and take off and so far everything is good in terms of durability. Happy with the purchase.

Good construction and a perfect fit.

I have this to put on my 3mm full suit for extra warmth and it fits great. Luckily the water hasn't been cold enough to need it since I bought it, but the construction is great. I hope to use it next winter.

Declared thermal protection

I like the velcro on the shoulder of this model. It helps a lot to put on a wetsuit. I used it in combination with a step-in wetsuit, both together offer exceptional protection in cold water. It takes practice to wear a step-in wetsuit over a John wetsuit, but you learn with practice. Bottom line the quality is high and I recommend it to anyone who wants to swim or dive in cold water (below 50F).

Pros
  • Diving and snorkeling
Cons
  • Hard to say

My first suit done right.

This is my first wetsuit ever so I don't really have any previous experience and therefore can't compare to other brands/types but my impressions of it are very positive. I decided to buy it to extend my kayaking season into the winter chills and buying a wetsuit was completely prohibitive so after some research this suit seemed ideal; 7mm thick and the John type allows my arms to move freely, the sizing guide was accurate (XXL for me). I was afraid to get in the first time because I thought it
