I bake bread every day and for some reason the men in the house can't cut an even slice of the load. I bought this for her and also to help when I'm dehydrated a lot. It's well made for the price, but doesn't have enough power to slice fresh bread. The blade's rotation will slow to almost a complete stop. In addition, there is not enough space behind the knife to move the cut piece freely, it clumps. On the other hand, it is excellent for other products. Tough carrots cut easily, like a warm…

You get a lot less than what you pay for.

I didn't expect perfect slices, but I did expect the food slicer to actually cut. Maybe not fast or very thin, but I was expecting 1/8" thick slices. I baked a few chicken breasts and then chilled them in the fridge overnight. This machine just ground them into shredded strips. I tried three of them and finally gave up and just sliced the taco chicken. I then tried to clean the slicer and couldn't remove all of the cooked chicken that was stuck behind the back plate. Result? Don't buy! Save…

Editing is slow, a bit uneven, because nothing is perfect in this world

Bought, kind of saves money, rough basis. slowly, a little unevenly, because nothing in this world is perfect. If you buy a lot of sliced meat from the store, this is a good choice. When comparing the prices of sliced meat and homemade sliced meat, I think the difference is about $2-$4 a piece depending on where you live and what store you shop at. But if I cut it at home, I can absolutely clean the meat, wash it before cutting. Very important Tried other veggie stuff, all works fine. The blade

Can burn down your house.

There is nothing good about this car. After a few minutes of use, it starts to overheat and smells like burnt plastic. This thing had me checking where my fire extinguishers were being used for about 15 minutes. It's surprisingly thin, it takes a Zen monk's steady hand to slice it all evenly, as the pressure it takes to keep the meat on the fun, useless sharp bits starts to wear the backplate to the point to bend where one side of the cut is noticeably thicker than the other. This results in…

cuts well but chopping board wobbles

It cuts well and is easy to use and clean, but a very uneven cut due to wobbling on the back makes this product unusable. . It makes a very loud noise when it first spins, and once the blade starts spinning at regular intervals, the noise dies down a bit. tried about 1/32 and cut nothing, tried 1/16, small ham shavings (not a thin slice but ham shavings). because the back wall gave way, only start cutting at 3/32, then in the middle at 1/8, then at the end of the same cut there was thin paper…
