Review on Nesco 7.5-inch Silver Food Slicer, One Size by Brittany Lee

cuts well but chopping board wobbles

It cuts well and is easy to use and clean, but a very uneven cut due to wobbling on the back makes this product unusable. . It makes a very loud noise when it first spins, and once the blade starts spinning at regular intervals, the noise dies down a bit. tried about 1/32 and cut nothing, tried 1/16, small ham shavings (not a thin slice but ham shavings). because the back wall gave way, only start cutting at 3/32, then in the middle at 1/8, then at the end of the same cut there was thin paper, of the 10 cuts only 4 came out in 1 part, and the rest was only halved . Try slicing a 4 inch oval ham and the result is the same too, with less than 10% sliced round and the rest only half. Anything thicker than 1/8 inch was easier, but then for a sandwich that wants 1/4 inch thick slices? The typical ham you buy at the store is less than 1/16 thick, so what do you envision?
