I can't tell you how good this little guy is!

I needed a multi cooker that was small enough for one person to cook but shaped to fit food more completely than vertical pressure cookers. Nesco was perfect. It's the right size, holds the right amount, the heat button position is accurate and the saucepan is ceramic (my others were non-stick metal) which I found really satisfying and overall probably the best I've seen. would have!

Amazing little addition to my kitchen!

I've always had large multi-cookers with 6 or 8 liters. This 1 1/2 quart size is very useful. I grew up thinking why make 4 liters of soup when you can make 8 liters just as easily! Abandoned overs abound. This smaller hob is very handy for cooking for two, making sauces, etc. The ceramic bowl can be used for roasting in the oven and then placed in a slow cooker to keep warm. I hesitated to buy this multi cooker because I have been collecting dishes for 50 years. It's small. Doesn't take up…

Teeny Tiny is the best in kitchen and dining room

Received it today so I can't rate its usefulness. However, I wanted to share with you my first impressions of the Nesco 1.5 liter multicooker. First, it's beautiful. The purple color is beautiful and it arrived in perfect condition. However, this oven is incredibly SMALL. It's like a playground for children. I knew it would be small, but some reviewers said it could cook for two. I live alone and barely have enough space to support one. This little pot is best served with appetizers or sauces…

Tiny Gem. in multicookers

I have two large pots but I rarely use them just for me and my husband so I decided to buy this small pot to try. When I sent it to the mailbox, my first thought was how small it is. I was a little wary of using it. Decided to give it a try this morning. I put in some beef, added 2 sliced potatoes, some celery, onion, green peppers and baby carrots, some V8 juice and beef stock, turned on the fire and simmered for about 9 hours. We've just had a delicious stew and I've been doing a bit of work.

Pros
  • Excellent overall performance
Cons

Ideal for one or two people.

I like this little multi-cooker. It has a detachable jug that is easy to clean. It has high, medium and low settings so I can control my cooking. I use it at work instead of a microwave (I haven't used a microwave in 7 years!). I put food in a glass jar and put some water at the bottom of the jar. Place the glassware in the pitcher (don't let the water push the water too high. You don't want watery food). Leave it on about an hour before lunch and I've got a great hot meal with no radiation or…

These things are so adorable, perfect size for bariatric patients

I bought these for me and my husband because we are both going to have weight loss surgery. Normally a pot of chilli makes four to five cups, but after surgery we should only eat half a cup at a time. I don't want to spend a lot of food and money so I decided to give it a try. They are better quality than I expected and absolutely adorable. I sincerely regret not having bought them a long time ago because I always feel guilty when I have too many leftovers and don't eat them. For the average…

Perfect little multi cooker

I bought this specifically for making hot cereal at night. It is ideal for preparing 2 servings of oatmeal, broth or other hot cereal. Seems well done. All parts are made of ceramic or glass (except for bulges, of course). It is just as easy to clean as any other multi-cooker. There is always a crust around the top of the food, which is cooked in the same way as in any slow cooker. It doesn't have a timer, but I've had no problem cooking food longer than planned on low heat. i love the size It…

Size, comfort, easy cleaning, delicious food. Right amount.

I bought a Nesco 1.5 qt. A slow cooker suggested by a friend when I complained that my slow cooker was too big for one person and heavy as hell. I LOVE this CP. Ideal for 1 or 2 people, 2 to 4 servings. It definitely won't break the bank, it cleans up well, it's beautiful and it doesn't take up much counter space at all. In fact, it's the only thing on my countertop in my small kitchen and it's found HOME. It has warm, low and high settings. It has no timer or reset for heating. Don't worry…

  • Easy to use
