I like that you can use this with your own custom protocols or even just simple TCP/IP connections without too much trouble - if there's something in particular not working properly then they will probably fix those issues quickly! It also has some really cool visualization tools built into its interface so seeing what happens when different attacks are performed makes things easier than trying them out yourself via wireshark / tcpdump etc.. The only thing i dislike about neossii was how slow…

Pros
  • Also great at finding malicious code within an application once it is running inside memory insteadof being executed directly through execution vectors.
  • Easy GUI toolset available
Cons
  • It is hard to say

Excellent Wireshark-Like Network Simulator

NeSSi allows you to simulate both wired and wireless networks. It also lets you configure devices and run them in your environment. It's free software so there are no limitations, but for large scale environments I would recommend using licensed versions with more resources. The documentation is lacking. There isn't much help online, and most of the tutorials that do exist are out of date. You will have to learn how to use the tool by trial and error. It took me several hours to figure this…

Pros
  • It also lets you configure devices and run them in your environment

  • I had to figure it out by trial and error
