Fingers crossed: computers and accessories

I've been using this router for over 2 years and the count keeps growing. Simple interface through the application. I never had to call customer service (thank god I've heard war stories). I gave three stars because Mbps varies when downloading. In one second it's 21 Mbit/s, and after a few seconds it shoots up to 187 Mbit/s. I'm curious as to why this is happening. Consider going back to a Verizon router if instability persists. I highly recommend rebooting at least once a month.

Pros
  • Great overall performance
Cons
  • No instructions

Cheap and reliable!

Build a network to earn money. I have found that the cheaper Netgear router works better for most people. It's fast enough to keep up with most internet services available in my area. The Netgear router is usually pre-programmed with a random password that you can change if you wish. As a last resort, I sometimes run to set up my iPhone. In my experience from over 31 years of Internet setup, the cheaper Netgear router actually performs better than the most expensive routers when it comes to…

Pros
  • Cool
Cons
  • Almost everything ok

PERMANENTLY DISCONNECTED DURING GAME

This router is by far the biggest junk I've ever spent money on. I got disconnected more than 15-20 times a day while gaming and surfing the internet while using this router. A quick google search will show you I'm not the only one having these issues using this router. Since I got rid of that router and bought another one, I haven't had a single outage. DON'T SPEND MONEY ON THIS ROUTER!

Pros
  • Well built
Cons
  • Doubtful

5 GHz Low Band Basic Router

The Netgear R6260 has replaced the TP Link Archer C7 and is almost as powerful as it. I think Netgear does a little better on the 2.4GHz band, and the 5GHz band has decent performance but not as much range. Setup was easy via a web browser and I've only seen a few firmware updates. I think if it lasts a few years it's gold and time for an upgrade. I don't usually spend a lot of money on a router.

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Makes you angry
