Ideal for itchy, dry and flaky scalps but smells awful at first, takes some getting used to. Be sure to apply a moisturizing conditioner as it dries out the hair and the conditioner will get rid of the odor. I use Spa Haus Tea Tree Mint Conditioner, it works great, I also use Sulfa 8 hair oil occasionally and so far my scalp is dandruff free and itchy and I'm back to my normal hair care routine.

It doesn't lather and doesn't smell as good as a rich man's melted leather shoes, but heck it gets rid of the snow on your head like Bo$$.

I have a friend but if he is a conspiracy theorist. He told me that Head & Shoulders is actually designed to create more dandruff so you use it more often and buy more and that I need to try this product called T-Gel. Neutrogena TGel was developed to get rid of dandruff and after three uses I can say without a doubt that this is true. endure if you choose this product. First the good: PLUS1) TGel stops dandruff. Yeaay! 2) It makes hair super clean to the point of squeaks. But additional air conditioning is a must! CONS 1) It smells awful! I heard T-Gel is great for itchy scalp and dandruff. but the second used my husband. he choked on the smell! He HATED it! I fully understand that the ingredients are very effective for these symptoms. it just wasn't for him. We switched it to Nizoral and it works better and smells GOOD!

Pros: Super effective product, natural ingredient (coal tar), no creepy or overpowering odor, and it just WORKS on an itchy, flaky scalp. I have seborrheic dermatitis and have concluded that there is nothing specific to treat. I have a couple of steroid creams that my doctor prescribed for me and I am currently using this shampoo to get in between. I can't say for sure if it helps, but I doubt it will do me any harm. My hair used to get very greasy within 24 hours of each wash and 24 hours after washing my hair it started to itch and smell. There are also many small oily pimples growing in my pry bar, I cleaned the oily pimples every day. But after using this shampoo, hair didn't get greasy and didn't smell even within 3 days of using it. That's great. The only negative is the smell, it smells like medicine.
