I've ordered two pairs for others so far. Got the first one nobody saw when it came out. Since then, my colleagues have seen theirs and wanted theirs. Even though these shoes are available elsewhere, they keep asking me to order them for them. As for the 2020 model, I have to keep an eye out for a good opportunity.

Once I put them on I will never turn down a plate by wearing something else. So comfortable, fits perfectly. If you're trying to decide whether to spend the extra money or find something cheaper, spend the extra money! You will not regret it.

I'm messing around 200 games between March and October and 80% of them left behind. This is not only my most comfortable pair of ump shoes, it is of all my shoes. ALL OF THEM.

The back of my left shoe is coming off and falling apart. I only wear shoes on the turf, only if the shoes don't even have a full baseball season can I send them back for another pair

This is actually one of my most comfortable pairs of shoes, which is not what you would expect from steel toe shoes. They are very spacious and live up to expectations, unlike the field model which is very narrow.

Not impressed with customer service. Spend over $160 on umpire plate shoes that don't even last 1/4 of a baseball season. Sending a request to NB to guarantee their work as the left shoe's stitching has come loose for the toe leather and plate guard. These are great plate shoes. Comfortable with lots of protection. Light weight with some nice features like a place to hide the bow and laces under the protective sleeve. Also, part of the casing is suspended over the laces, giving you a kind of shock-absorbing effect when you hit the ball.

I coach softball and baseball 6 times a week February through November 7. Love these breathable and lightweight shoes. Can take a baseball right away. I have them on sale, I will buy a few more.

Well, I really love my 460 record shoes and I really don't care how these new shoes look, but they feel a little better and I'm sure they'll grow on me over time.

This shoe is very comfortable. They are also very large and shiny. I decided to return them. The biggest issue I have with this is the sizing, specifically the height of the shoe. I'm not sure which shin pads fit them. The foot platform is positioned high enough that your shin pads are about 2-4 inches higher. I have Davishins (latest version) and when I walk around the house I just couldn't get comfortable in the top of the shoe which is a shame as the shoes are so comfortable. The shin guards

I've worn these plated shoes about 4 times and they fit perfectly. In fact, I like them better than the old New Balance flats. The surface is glossy black and easy to clean.

I like that they wipe. The only downside is that I can't extract all the tone from cracks in patten leather, so there's a faint orange time. They feel great on my feet.

This shoe instep protector is higher than most flat shoes on the market. The shin guard sits very high on the instep guard, not sure the ankle extension will cover the ankle bone.

I refereed games for 22 years, this is my third pair of boots, so comfortable! Yesterday I played 5 games with them from 8:00 to 20:00. And when I finished, my feet were more comfortable than other boots I've ever had. Plus it's easy! Hopefully the materials and craftsmanship will stand the test of time. Likes: light; Multiple uses, also use this shoe for refereeing (high school/youth football game). The steel bar protects my toes well from both offensive and defensive linemen.

I love the design and construction of these flats. They come in very handy when dealing with multiple games a day. They are easy to put on and take off and tie. They offer protection where you need it and the high gloss is easy to maintain. My only issue at the moment is that one of the loops came out on one shoe so I need to find a lace hole. All in all, this is a great buy for the judges you know!

An excellent product improvement over previous New Balance running shoes. Better design, improved outsole, lighter, better protection, easier to lace up with new metatarsal support valve design. Fits perfectly in size 13 2E. If you don't go for a medium width or 2E, go for 2E as this leaves some room for the foot and thicker socks.

The item is incorrectly marked as "Low Cut". The photo shows the mid-cut shoes and they sent me a mid-cut even though I wanted a low-cut. TWICE. Annoying.
