    The shoe comfort is the best in my rating

    I only use this shoe for training and I have some issues with the tongue feeling wide and very thin so it flexes when I put the shoe on and rubs the top of the foot when unfolded. So I have to work on my tongue every time I wear these shoes.

    Fantastic landing!: my rating

    It's hard to find shoes in 4E that seem made for me, and then I find these! Fantastic shoe, ideal for walking and trail running. The only complaint is that the sole needs better arch support, but that's an easy fix. Highly recommended.

    Excellent trainer for sports and training

    I use them for soccer training, they are very good, enough profile for grass training. This is my third pair. Love the look but these dug into my heal so much that I had to stop wearing them!

    Super disappointed in these shoes

    I have been buying New Balance shoes for many years and have never had any problems. These are by far the worst hiking/running shoes I've ever owned. Believe all other reviews on the sales problem. I hadn't even gone 1/2 a mile when my boots hurt so bad I had to take them off. I tried thicker socks next time and it didn't help at all, I tried new insoles. nope Still terrible. I also ordered a wide one for a small extra room and they are anything but wide.     Worst shoes I've ever bought

    I've been wearing New Balance sneakers for about 35 years. That's the first thing that disappointed me. The shoes are cheaply made, without cushioning, it is very uncomfortable to walk in them. Not comfortable at all.

    Good shoes for an active dad

    I've been doing too much shoe research because I'm a runner/hiker/dad/dog walker and whatnot. I need wide breathable shoes, not 130 (like my Altras). Now I have 2 pairs and for light everyday use I like them for $70. I get about 1 year if I use maybe 3-4 days a week. Excellent breathability and the addition of your own arch support, a winner

    I found the toe area to be a bit small but they actually fit me. Some NBs are a bit large in 4E. Good support and cushioning. The water resistance of this version has not yet been tested.

    It is very difficult for me to find comfortable shoes with my foot problems. So far these shoes are great. I put them on as soon as I got them and they were so comfortable.

    Perfect fit and waterproof!

    I wear a size 9 and they fit me perfectly in this size as expected from New Balance. New Balance seems to have more standard widths and X-Wide options than regular width or 2EE, which is why I jumped at these when I said they were my size width. An added bonus is that they are Gore-Tex and waterproof, which I didn't realize until I got them.

    New Ballance continues to lower the cost of its product

    I've been wearing these shoes for about a week and the tread is already wearing off. My ASICS (which I've run 300+ miles in) and my Merrills (which I've run 400+ miles in) still have most of their tread. It's sad that New Ballance continues to make their product cheaper. They'll make good shoes for gardening... a few more weeks. 🤷‍♂️

    Bad size, bad quality

    Immediate return. New Balance really went under. You used to be able to get reasonably priced shoes from them that weren't trendy but served their purpose and felt good. It looks like a dollar store product. I've heard horror stories about subtle languages and now I've finally come across this. What idiot thought that was a good idea?     I wore them while walking around Boston and other New England cities. I love the New Balance brand for fit and comfort. They come in large sizes and I appreciate that.

    Too small ....!!! in my rating

    I've always worn a size 12 at New Balance. These shoes are a half size too small and I suppose a half size up would be great. I run 20 miles a week on these. They fit my wide feet just right..

    The color is deceptive in my opinion.

    I bought Dark Blaze/Black shoes. I was VERY disappointed when they showed up and were a green forest. Pictures are VERY deceiving. Be careful when ordering.

    The quality is the same as $20 Walmart shoes.

    This is the only 4E shoe that fits me perfectly. But otherwise the quality is very bad. The threads are removed and the glue comes off in just a few days. The tread was completely worn out within a month. It costs too much for what you get. Next time I will buy Asics.

    No padding on the tongues

    This shoe is pretty comfortable aside from the total lack of padding on the tongue. I've never owned a pair of running shoes without a well-padded tongue. Also, they seem fine.

    Great look and fit in my opinion

    I love these shoes. I waited a while for them to become available again and when they appeared I ordered them without hesitation. I ordered 10.5" x-wide. They don't look like wide shoes which is great and they didn't feel like wide shoes at first. They were very comfortable on day one and I thought maybe they got me Sent the wrong pair. But after only wearing them for a day or two they were very comfortable. I use them for everyday use but haven't had a chance to try them on the track yet…

    This shoe is not for wide feet. If you buy 2E, you get 4E. If you need 4E, look elsewhere. I wear a size 12 4E and I have a hard time finding shoes that fit me and I like them. As usual I pulled the laces out to make them more comfortable and without the laces the shoes were too tight and my forefoot bit into it and pushed the material out. The heel counter was nice and solid but if I walked in it it would be a bit tight and probably wet my foot. If I need wide shoes, I choose New Balance. If…
