👟 KJ990V4 Athletic Running Shoes for Little Girls from New Balance Review

These are the ONLY tennis shoes my 5 year old can wear. He has a wide foot with a large instep and finds it difficult to put shoes on. These shoes are great because they come in WIDE and EXTRA WIDE. We bought extra wide and they fit him perfectly and were very comfortable.

I'm 73, a breast cancer survivor for almost 9 years, I'm only 4'11" and wear a 3-1/2 XW baby shoe. I was thrilled to find a pink Big Kids shoe that fit me perfectly extra deep so I can put in the Alegria insole to protect my legs which have lost muscle due to a side effect of chemotherapy

When my kid got the 990s, he couldn't go back to any other shoe (New Balance or any other brand). Great fit, great support. He wears them all day to school, walks and runs a lot, and he always outgrows them before they show any signs of wear.

Very good quality and appearance. My child is very picky about their shoes and needs a lot of room for their toes. These extra wide shoes are perfect. No other shoes could be found that fit their needs.

I really like the shoes but ordered the light gray 990 V4 which is the size my son normally wears and the shoes came out half a size smaller than a 2 (length). I went back to order the next size up and they were sold out. I ended up ordering the NB 888 in Dark Gray (Magnet) and they are even better with better support than the newer 990.

The only shoe my sensitive son finds comfortable. Seamless socks make mornings easy. They're expensive, but they don't wear out before he outgrows them.

I bought these shoes for my son who plays sports. He kept complaining about how bulky they were compared to Nike sneakers. The sole is not that flexible. I liked how durable it was and the arch support provided, but he wasn't thrilled. He wears them, but not for running. These shoes are stylish and the lightweight upper is perfect for summer, but overall they are bulkier than other popular brands. .

when i was looking for nb shoes with arch support i found these and got them but they are very uncomfortable, rough and without support. they only have a tiny very dry piece of cloth inside them so i had to put this silicon thing inside them so i can walk (they are very pretty but who cares if i can't walk in them for an hour because of pain, by the way they are too wide for a medium fit)

The 990s are now my favorite New Balance sneakers. My sister wears it almost every day too. I was happy to match a pair in the same color and style for my daughter. I love that New Balance is made in the USA. They fit my daughter very well. She already wears New Balance but still wears models with large Velcro closures. Looks great! Manufactured with quality. This was for my son and he says it's comfortable. He wore it all day and didn't complain. I have the same New Balance and they are so comfortable!

I really love it! I am a big NB 990 buyer. I have about 20 pairs in different colors. I will definitely buy another pair of these.

Unlike the photo, these shoes have laces, not velcro. The shoes still worked for my son but it wasn't what we expected and at this age shoelaces can be a hindrance for all day wear. However, they were comfortable and my son loves them.

I just love this brand of shoes, NB is my favorite since I had foot problems, they help. I wasn't in the pain I was in before my orthopedist told me about NB shoes.

I bought these because I've bought NBs for my son a number of times over the years, but the gray mesh paint on them is an odd shimmery icy slate with hints of blue. Not what I expected and for $75! (which I only spent because it's bloody hard to find tall boy shoes anywhere, let alone a nice neutral color that goes with everything, so I bought them when I found them).

Liked the shoes. in perfect shape. Unfortunately I ordered the wrong size, but I will definitely order again. The only thing I didn't like was that the box was torn, but otherwise I liked the product.

I've been buying new sneakers for my kids for a couple of years now. The new v4 from the 990's just isn't good. The quality has gone down, the fit is different, the shoes fall apart completely in less than 2 months. The stitching is torn, there is a hole in the mesh above the shoe etc. What's really embarrassing is that the cost of these v4s has gone up a lot compared to the v3. When the quality returns I will check it out.
