These shoes failed to impress me. While they initially felt comfortable, they quickly lost their supportive qualities after only minimal wear. Additionally, the durability was disappointing - not holding up even in basic Sports and Outdoors activities. After I put it to the test, these were not worth the investment.

Road Runner seems to have fallen off a cliff since I used it twenty years ago - no customer service at all. The shoes are great but as expected they fell apart just after 500 miles so this is my second pair this year. I went from 225# to 185# in five months, so they worked! 98% mileage on asphalt or concrete.

When I buy 7.5 wide I am never sure if they will fit and work well for my little piggy feet. These New Balance 570s are just beautiful. Fits very well and gives me a lot of cushioning when running. My only reason not giving them five stars is that the laces are a bit short for my extra wide feet. I can get a bow, but not a double. Okay, not a very critical issue.
