    Great minimal shoes

These are great shoes. Very comfortable and with minimal waste but with enough padding for all day around town. About 18 months ago I switched to shoes with no or minimal heels and all my back pain went away! I don't think these shoes fit me for running but I wear them all day when I walk around New York and they were the only shoes I took with me on a 3 week trip to Bangkok. I can walk in it all day without discomfort.

    Pros
    • Comfortable shoes and stylish. Exactly what a big shoe lover needs.
    Cons
    • I have previously bought NB shoes in the same size and they fit perfectly. They are TOO BIG.

    Quickly become my favorite shoe

After owning a pair of these shoes for a week, I quickly went ahead and bought another pair in a different color. I've always been pleased with how comfortable a pair of New Balance shoes are, but that's on another level. They are very light so you don't notice any fatigue and the cushioning and support are top notch. My job forces me to stand and walk for eight hours at a time, and I need shoes that can work on a concrete floor. This is up to the task. Not only are they comfortable, but they…

    Pros
    • CrossFit Wednesday...
    Cons
    • May not be suitable for those with specific foot conditions or injuries.

My pros and cons aren't that great

I really, really wanted to like her. And if the ankle cut wasn't too far back (too close to the heel) then they would be great. It's a shame because they look very nice. They just don't fit the ankle properly and the fabric cut into my ankle to the point where both legs/ankles hurt. That's not normal. Also, they sent me marble gray instead of the black and white I ordered. I really like the look of the grays and if they didn't cut into my ankle, on the outside of each leg, I would love them…

    Pros
    • This is a very comfortable, high quality cross trainer at a very reasonable price. These will stay with me for a long time!
    Cons
    • Cannot be sweat resistant and retain odors

The NB Minimus series is constantly evolving

This is a solid minimus from New Balance. I mean it has the material needed to hold/protect the foot but it is minimal in the sense that there is no corner to keep the heel over the toes. It also has a minimal outsole. This keeps you more connected to the ground when lifting weights or doing other exercises. Not cozy at all, so you know what you're getting into. But great construction and fit. Great shoes for training.

    Pros
    • Great shoes. Always order this line. Fast delivery.
    Cons
    • May not be as comfortable as other running shoes on the market.

Great training shoe but I wouldn't use it as a running shoe.

Great training shoe but I wouldn't use it as a running shoe. They're great training shoes after breaking them in, but walking in them isn't perfect. I run a quarter mile to warm up and that's about as long as I can handle. The base is too flat for a good run, but it's a great stable base for strength training. They are narrow, so if you have wide feet, take your width size. They also look great as semi-casual shoes with nice dark jeans if that's your taste. Definitely recommend!

    Pros
    • I love this shoe, I use it for low profile wear during training or sprints... I use separate shoes for long distances.
    Cons
    • Just sent the mail, tried on the shoes, and when I pulled on the tongue, the seam tore. ☹️

Large size, beautiful appearance, good functionality

My friend loved it, he always takes New Balance's Minimus line because it's strong, durable and made in large sizes which are hard to find. Looks great

    Pros
    • Although I bought a wide one, they could be a bit wider. shoes work fine
    Cons
    • Limited color options

Ideal for functional and cross training

Quality materials and assembly. Sturdy shoes but not heavy. Excellent lateral stability and traction without impeding forward movement. Ideal for functional training and cross training.

    Pros
    • These are the most comfortable shoes I've ever worn. Fits perfectly
    Cons
    • May not be suitable for people with sensitive skin or allergies

    Terribly flat in my rating

These shoes are terrible. Absolutely no support. I understand these are sneakers but I feel and hear the flatness of these shoes so much that it affects the way you walk. I have other Minimus shoes and love them. Was very disappointed with these.

    Pros
    • The shoes are very comfortable and fit me just right.
    Cons
    • May not be strong enough to withstand frequent use and wear and tear

    Absolutely amazing shoes!

These shoes are instantly amazing, they are so comfortable and so attractive. Now the trick here is to know if you need a roomy fit or not. I'm a men's size 12 but I know from previous NB shoes I've owned that I need a width 12 for complete comfort so it would be good for you to find out before ordering your first pair. Otherwise: GET IT! You will not regret it

    Pros
    • Although shown as wide, they can be a bit wider but still fit.
    Cons
    • May not fit all foot types and sizes

    Revainrating 3 out of 5

The soles are terrible. Not the pillow NB is known for.

Terrible for flat feet. The soles are firm and not designed for long distances, at least not for me. However, the color is there, so I had to keep it.

    Pros
    • My dear
    Cons
    • There can be a lack of adequate ventilation, which can result in feet getting hot and sweaty.

    My favorite crossfit shoe

I've been doing CrossFit since 2014 and have gone through Nike, Rebooks, New Balance and Nobulls. These are currently my favorite shoes for WOD. They offer more stability for Olympic lifts and are also suitable for more explosive and agile exercises during WOD. I continue to wear these shoes over my Nobulls and continue to train well.

    Pros
    • I love these shoes, this is my second pair.
    Cons
    • Worst shoes ever! The soles are very slippery.

    Favorite shoes: my rating

These are my favorite training shoes. Excellent support when lifting weights and comfortable enough for short runs and cardio. Lots of comments on how cool this particular design is.

I love it, my verdict is the best in my review

Best cross training shoe since the first NB MX20GL4 I bought a few years ago. The shape is almost perfect for my foot (wide at the front, narrow at the back) and the shoe fits my insoles perfectly. Bravo NB!

    Pros
    • Nice looking kicks, for my big asses, like a glove
    Cons
    • May not provide enough traction for some activities

Advertised as X-Wide but is a full 3/8 inch narrower than the old New Balance Minimus MX20v4 models of the same size. I'm a big fan of New Balance Minimus shoes and I have many different models including: many pairs MT10MT20MX007MRMX20v4 (favorite, durable and wide) In the first model year there were problems with sole separation, but since then the only bigger problem for me has been wear and tear the outsole. The v7 shoes are noticeably narrower than their predecessors and I was disappointed…

    Decent shoes for weightlifting.

I wore NB weightlifting shoes for a while. I found a website that recommended them as really good weightlifting shoes and I've had great luck with NBs in the past. decided to try this. These shoes are very light and the sole is really flat, making them a great weightlifting shoe. I've only had them for 5 months and only use them at the gym and the vibram soles are already damaged. , and wear very quickly. The photos show how the sole is already starting to crack and how the clutch is starting…

Ideal for flat feet / lack of arch

Ideal for flat feet. This is the second time I've been doing the 80 Day Obsession workout, which is a combination of weight and cardio. I wore my old sneakers for the first 80 days. I googled "best shoes for flat feet", tried several brands including Merrill, Reebok, Brooks and other New Balance. These shoes fit me best. You are stubborn. I don't slip on the sideplank. They give me stability when doing squats and bench presses. You have a little difference. They are by no means naked to the…
