Finally.: Shoes

Finally, highly rated sneakers that really fit, are well made and can withstand the rigors of everyday life. I'm not a runner anymore, but I walk long distances. Very well made shoes inside and out, light weight, tight and even look cool. Even for a 64-year-old.

Pros
  • Seamless Overlays
Cons
  • Expensive

It is too expensive. Not cool.

Nothing special about this shoe. It would have received a better rating but due to the over the top sales pitch I am very disappointed as I was expecting so much more. Bait & Switch indicator. BTW: These shoes are no cooler than other NBs. My feet sweat more in them than in previous NB models.

Pros
  • 50% Synthetic, 50% Mesh
Cons
  • Retrofittable

Very Disappointed: Men's

The sole of one of the shoes began to peel off after a dozen socks. Shouldn't happen with $85 shoes bought in late September. I contacted the seller and was told I was out of luck as I went past the return window. Nothing in return was offered other than "sorry." Poor brand reflection, which is even worse for the seller. If the seller wants to make another attempt to change my rating, I'm open to that. Otherwise I won't come back.

Pros
  • 8mm Drop
Cons
  • Damaged

Comfortable shoe - wears out too quickly

These are comfortable shoes from New Balance but after six months of normal use, mainly walking, occasional treadmill running at the gym, steps on the sole of the shoe as other reviews state, completely erased. For shoes over $160, this is unacceptable. New Balance needs to improve the quality as I am looking to other brands from now on. For the money I expect better quality shoes that last longer.

Pros
  • ACTEVA Ultra Lite
Cons
  • No performance

Disappointed Good for men

I have worn NB 1260 for many years and love them. When my last pair wore out and was no longer available, I tried the NB Fresh Foam Vongo and really liked it, but I wanted to try the Rubix, which I did after putting 350 miles on the Vongo. Unfortunately Rubix was disappointed and I am buying another pair of Vongos. I found the Rubix extremely stiff and it still is after almost 100 miles. At the same time, they are not as durable and comfortable as 1260 or Vongo. Recently my right big nail got…

Pros
  • Special mesh
