The New Balance's wide shoe gets the fit right and we're grateful for that. Bought these for my 9 year old (who is not picky about shoes) and after the first week they looked like they were 4 months old: unkempt. This was my second pair of New Balance 680v5s. Wear Big Kid sizes and they fit better than women's sizes. These New Balance shoes are very comfortable! What I like most about this model is how they keep my feet cool and comfortable. You have a lot of pillows. Mesh channels airflow to your feet.
