New Star Foodservice 22513 Dredge Review

Love this little colander. I actually bought it to use in my garden so I can lightly sprinkle diatomaceous earth powder around the plants to help the bugs. Multiple lid options definitely make it easy to choose and control the amount of application. Excellent quality and value.

They arrived quickly and were exactly as previously advertised. I love the fact that it comes with different sized perforated lids that allow you to choose the one that best suits your needs. The lids snap on very tightly so I don't expect any problems with them unless they chip or break. The clear plastic looks decent quality too. So far I've had no luck with Chinese clear plastic, which cracked at the slightest pressure. It seems that maybe their technology is improving.

Good little digger/shaker for training. My main complaint here is that, as others have said, there is no "not in use" hardcoat to prevent caking or moisture build-up. I also wish the lid with the smallest holes was even smaller. If someone tried to use this as a salt shaker, even with the lid with the tiniest of holes, the salt would basically slosh out.
